MARTHA + TOM

Venue: Garthmyl Hall

This was a particularly special and unique wedding for Martha and Tom in November. The entirety of the florals were grown or foraged by Martha and her family which were incredible to work with! It made everything so personal and every stem was shown off and celebrated where it was placed.

First of all we selected ingredients for the bouquets. We wanted flowers that had really kept their colour and Martha requested poppy seed heads to be featured as a sentimental element. It featured roses, limonium, helichrysum, hydrangeas, old mans beard and honesty. Martha and her bridesmaids came down the staircase to the main hall where we had dressed the staircase with dramatic dried florals. Shapely bracken and towering teasels offered the perfect structure to the installations which are both quite a deep brown/bronze when dried. I am obsessed with purple with brown so we ran with purple limonium as the perfect pairing here.

After the ceremony at Berriew church we returned to Garthmyl Hall for drinks in the house followed by the wedding breakfast in the marquee under a cloud of dried flowers and seed heads.
